she said, how do I get to the party at town square? And Vision's like at town square. Which is what have you ever forgotten? I'm really bad with directions. But if I knew about Townsquare, I don't think I would forget where town square was.

And now it's time when we answer the question, is this entertainment with your host, Jacob and Ben.

Boom. Welcome. Welcome.

Welcome

to the ITE podcast. Featuring our host Benjamin M. Owens and

Take up Aaron Miller.

AOL,

what are you going to do?

There's too many Jacob Millie's

Yep. We got filter all of them out. Make you Jacob. You know what? , I've occasionally Googled myself and , I would have pop up. Somewhere on the first page, but down at the bottom for an improv show that got like a write-up in DNO, the U of L Cardinal or something like that.

But . There was like a Mississippi state football player named Ben Owens. There's a guitar player, like a bluegrass guitar player at a like South Carolina named Ben Owens. There's been a fair amount of Ben Owens is that have , completely overtaken me and I haven't done it in a long time.

I'm doing it right now. Really nice. Actually two guys, Google and stuff right off the

bat. I was really hoping this podcast would rank you a little better.

The other question is am I going to show up as Ben or Benjamin? Okay. I'm going to try. I'm going to Google Benjamin Owens.

I have

you in the podcast.

Your first thing is Benjamin Owens obituary.

Okay, your results are different than mine. I got your actual Facebook profile. Oh, wow.

I did vice versa, president and general manager of Honeywell. Sustainable technology solutions. Way to go that day. Hey, you're successful.

Huh? We got some guitar cover.

Do you want Benjamin M. Owens in the , Sure why not in the podcast. Okay. I'll change your name. Maybe I'll start to rank for that. Wow. This is sad. Cause what's Jacob, Miller's worse.

This is just a bunch of criminals.

I am sure. Absolutely. It's like

You have this name, you tend to be a criminal apparently. , or a , a Jamaican reggae artists. Yeah. Ooh. Yup. Go on with the Jacob Aaron Miller going with that. I don't think I'll ever outrank the , the

reggae artists.

Yeah. Gosh, that's , that'll take some doing that would take some too.

Yeah. What ? Are we talking about here?

Hey , so before, before we get into one division , you see this new , Snyder cut trailer? No, I haven't. Ooh, came out this morning,

before we get into that, though. Yeah, the voice you heard at the beginning of this episode was Moxie. LaBouche Who we interviewed in our previous episode. So if you haven't listened to that, go back. It's a lot of fun.

We did do a priest, 2011 film review as well, but. I would say, if you haven't or listened to that episode,

listen to it anyway. Even if you haven't seen priests. Yes, it is. It is not a prerequisite. We don't go in that much detail about the movie. Although I guess I do spoil the ending at one point,

but if you haven't seen the , 2011 film by now, you're

probably not going to watch or alert the bad guy dies at the end.

I'm so glad Ben Affleck was back

and this has come out.

It comes out and then the next day sound good in winter. Your soldier comes out.

, direct competition.

Okay, this is the movie I always to see. This is the justice league that , I was curious about when the first trailers came out. You know what I mean? .

Yeah. So you got through the whole thing. Yeah. Cool. Superman wearing the black costume I'm for it. He looked outright evil. And then , Leto's jokers back.

Crazy long hair. I didn't even see that. That was the beginning. That was at the very end.

Oh, you know what? I didn't fit. I was watching it. What? A monster. Oh, is there a little thing at the end?

Oh my God.

Yeah. , I'm sure it was one of those situations where it's like, all right , my hair's long cause I'm doing this other movie and I can't cut it for your fear for your re cut of the movie we made four years ago. But I feel like they, they incorporated it well,

Yeah, no, it looks great.

Oh my God looks jacked up and we're going to get, it looks like more of the Ben Aflac Affleck, Batman , that I kinda, I fell in love with. I was like, what is this? We just see it as

a bit of a bruiser. You know what I mean? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. I, bat flat got a lot of crap in and I feel like a lot of it was unjustified, is Batman was perfectly serviceable.

I thought it was Bruce. Wayne was probably the best Bruce Wayne. I think he's done the best job of kind of being both maybe I feel like Val Kilmer had a pretty rock solid Bruce Wayne , especially in that Lake. The Playboy five, Michael Keaton was just like hermit nerd.

Which was great. Michael Keaton is great. I'm looking forward to him being in the flash movie. I cannot wait. I think that's going to be amazing. This is

crazy. And there are rumors that there's like talks to have a Ben Affleck, Batman too. Coming like a show or something, I guess it hinges on how well this does.

Yeah. I think they are as much as I think Marvel is going to be playing around with the multi-verse. I think DC is going so completely all in. Multiverse on the multiverse and using flash to really be able to tell them hi in literally anything that's ever happened. Yeah. Now, and as much as I'm excited about this new justice league, which, will be incredibly similar to own justice league , I still do reminisce

I could have gone for a more aligned , justice league. That's more aligned with the cartoon justice league from like the late two thousands , Oh seven to 10. Okay.

That's territory. I'm unfamiliar I watched a little bit of , the animated Batman series. What was that?

Oh yeah, that was awesome.

, because of the whole six flags thing, I had to be like super involved in knowing what's up with the justice league. So I ended up like watching a good amount of those cartoons and they were phenomenal. And , I think George Miller's movie was going to be a little bit more in line with that.

I think that's the one that got scrapped where , Oh, gosh, he was at common was gonna play the John Stewart version of green lantern and DJ contrare is that his name was going to be Superman. That kid from the OSI was going to be flash. Armie hammer he's been in the news lately. So he was supposed to be that man, the rumors on that movie.

It was , basically the dark night success killed that movie, which is unfortunate. But I think that was going to be wild, especially. Like that's the mad max guy, like that was going to be a crazy movie.

Yeah. It's like DC really has a hard time making a decision. They wait for the audience reaction.

Yeah. And

then

make a decision, which yeah, they never make a full blown plan and stick with it.

they're the least committed movie franchise in history,

I think. And I think had green lantern worked and , I'm going to be honest with you. I don't think Greenland was that bad. I didn't hate it.

I didn't hate it. It shows up on HBO every now and again. And I'm like, I'm gonna watch this movie. Yeah. Yeah. It's not bad, and if that style. Of movie, if they had adjusted that style, like a little bit more kid oriented, just slightly,

a little too cartoony

to cartoon. Yeah, definitely. But , but that's the world of.

Like not everything has to be gritty and dark, but

it's been really hard. And I know you said there's plenty of funny stuff on TV, but I can't find shit to watch. That's fun. Yeah. . Everything is dark. Everything is so dark. We used to get our fun shows from watching like survivor or whatever, that was fun to us, like whatever. Yeah.

Yeah, this is my , my reality TV. My, my reality TV , guilty pleasure is big brother, but that's a summer show, right?

Yeah. Dad loved big brother. He's Hey, did you watch big brother? You need to go on that show.

These people are stuck in a house and they can't listen to music.

They can't watch a TV. They are just always. Drama scheming behind each other's backs. And , sometimes it's fun. Sometimes it gets a little boring cause it's okay , like these three people are basically in charge of everything and that plays out to the end, but sometimes it's got some real, some fun stuff.

Yeah. The ,

Social dynamics, I think are always interesting, if it. If the game is good, the social dynamics can be interesting to watch play out. I don't know. . Maybe I just didn't watch enough of, but it seemed like the games were arbitrary compared to survivor where it's like

obvious you gotta have real skill kind of a thing.

, yeah, no, I get that. It's definitely a less physically imposing. There's usually like some competitions that are like, super high endurance kind of stuff, but then some of them are just like,

Random completely random.

Okay. Let's get back to business. Let's get to, alright.

So

speaking of shows that are fun. Yes. Still dark a little bit, but definitely

are. This episode was a little dark, but still a lot of fun.

This was

fun. Yeah. We've got Wanda in her more comic book type costumes, same thing with vision, their early comic costumes.

So yeah. They're early designs. Yeah. And she

said this was a, fortune teller,

fortunately,

right. Sokovia and fortune teller costume. Nice. So I thought that was clever, very well done. This was Vision's costume.

Yeah. The only thing that was in his closet that day. .

No choice there. No choice. You got to wear it, buddy. Put this on. Mexican wrestler is what he said,

right? Yes. Good try.

This is what it looks like. It really, it kinda, yeah.

Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Good times.

We had a lot of breaking the fourth wall, this episode and the theme music and everything just reminded me of what show was this?

Trying to be Malcolm

in the middle,

Malcolm in the middle. Okay. Yeah, that makes a lot. I watched a little bit of it.

Yeah. Yeah. So like Frankie Munez would do like the director of the camera stuff, it's a lot of Hey, I bet you're wondering how I ended up here. Yeah. And

I know you were hoping for a full house.

Oh, my gosh, man. I get it. I get it. And the more I look back that last episode, having the Zim running on the grass. Was a little full housey at the end of the beginning credits , the opening sequence it was a little full house, real missed opportunity.

Malcolm in the middle came out after full house,

though, for sure.

Yeah. Knocking middles was probably late nineties. So you

missed the boat there.

That's ship sails the ship sails. Oh, what a shame? Yep. Come on. One division team.

It could just be actually Olson wants to have her own career on her own,

Elizabeth. That's what I meant.

Elizabeth,

the point. Yeah. Yeah. So I made my point for her Elizabeth Belson just wants to have her own career. And I

understand that. That makes sense. Yeah, no, I totally get it. Yeah. It would have been cool to see that though it would have been amazing would have been absolutely amazing, and there's so many like winks and nods in this show to other stuff that I just don't understand how that wink or nod couldn't get in there.

There's a, kick-ass reference in this episode. Yes, . Yeah. In this episode. Yeah. On if you're dropping, if you're dropping that level of Easter egg, you can put a, you got it, dude, in there. Speaking

of which

Okay , , so we have this whole scene, whatever, where they're talking and whatever, and then a Quicksilver comes in and the kid gets the kids , costumes, and , which one's, which Tommy,

I think Tommy is the fast ones.

The is the fast one. And Billy is the. The one who stopped him with his blue hand.

Tommy, I guess Tommy, I don't know. The fast one basically has the same powers that he has. And the other one has the same powers that she has is what I'm inferring basically.

Something close to that. Close similar anyway.

Yeah. And , yeah, he runs off. Get some , get some , I want to say flash. I know it's not right. What is he? Quicksilver. Salford. Yeah. It's the Quicksilver costume, hair and everything. Yeah. That's fun.

And then vision drops the bomb that he doesn't want to go along with today's script. Yeah, that was, yeah.

Yeah. She really not part of the plan.

Yeah. He's exerting a little bit of autonomy there.

It seems like he's had autonomy pretty much the whole time, even though we want to

ask, it's just like when he chooses to exert it, yeah.

Which is nice. So we're seeing a lot of that in this episode. So , Yeah. How does that relate to real life? When I tell my wife, I want to go play poker.

That was not on this schedule.

Whoops. We had a whole plan for the day.

Yeah, it doesn't usually go over. Yeah, only if I win. Yes. Yeah. Nice. But still, , he goes and he does his own thing. He lies to her

outright. Yeah. Yeah. It's Hey, I'm on that. I'm on that , that neighborhood watch tonight.

What about all these kids that show up? Oh,

a massive amount of kids and all of a

sudden there's kids in his neighborhood. Yeah.

Of course, I don't have the picture with kids, but there's some kids that

go back to go to the one before that with Billy and Tommy.

Yeah. There's some kids

back the kids. Yeah. Tons of kids. Where were they? Tens of

kids. Have they just been in like, the outstations mode? Like the people on the outskirts of town, man, that was fricking weird. Ooh, man.

Yeah. Levels of weird new and it seems like we thought maybe there was something else going on and it wasn't all Wanda, but the farther we go.

It seems like it really is. Wanda.

Just, I still think that's a misdirect of Mr. I think it's still a misdirect. They have it. You give

us any clue as to what else is, except for the fact that herb in his outfit, when he's out talking, he's Oh , when they're running around prank and everybody he's Oh , did you want me to change something?

Yeah. I feel like people are being more upfront with Wanda. It's just , do you want a, you want anything different? You want, what do you want us to do? What, how do you

want this scene to play out?

Yeah. Tell me what to do, please. And makes the pain go away.

And it was even a conversation with , Wanda and , Wanda and Quicksilver.

And he's What are, or what was the, why the, why do you look different? Like she says it out loud. So she's broaching the topics that we're all thinking. Like

what definitely. , it seems like Quicksilver's asking a lot of the same questions that vision is asking.

but like she's willing to like, Answer him a little bit more than vision.

So that makes me think that yeah, whatever is going on with quick silvery, he's almost been implanted in the same way too. Like

it felt like her acting information or something .

Yeah. I feel like he is a plant. He is a mole. He's a mole to figure out what's going on for the good guys.

That's my guess. If you told me that , if in the last episode he like, spins around real fast and turns into Dr. Strange and be like, it was me it's the whole time I'd be like, yep. I did

that.

When they go trick or treating and Sokovia.

And the creepy old lady gives them a fish.

. Yeah. Yeah. She says that's not how I remember it. And , And he says you probably suppressed a lot of the Trauma.

Yeah. He's pretty , he's just, , maybe a little too . He needs a better filter.

Yeah,

he hasn't got kicked out of the town yet.

He did get, he did get blasted into a pile of hay for , making that well, Vision can't die a second time joke. I didn't go over well.

Like right after this conversation, when , when Billy starts to figure out that vision is past Ellis street and things are starting to freak out he makes the joke.

Oh. And she also sees him as dead for that split second to, . So that was good and terrifying.

Is that what she said? Something about kick-ass or something?

Oh , I think , Quicksilver in the boys make it make the kick-ass reference, which is interesting because Evan Peters was in kick-ass with Aaron Taylor Johnson, who was kick-ass.

Who was kick-ass who was formerly Quatro. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. What a weird, and yet we can say you got it, dude.

What? A wink and a nod

If Elizabeth is ever on cameo, I'm going to get her to say you got it. Oh, that's what the cost is. Show up on cameo, do it.

I don't remember Halloween ever being this fun. Did you have this much fun? Look at all these kids, like going out and prank and I never did any of the prank stuff.

Do you do the bread

stuff? Stuff? I do remember. One Halloween where we went to my aunt's house. And hit up her neighborhood and then went to my other aunt's house and hit up her neighborhood. And that one, I remember being pretty rad. And then I think the first one when we moved to , another neighborhood in.

Okalona we had one where it was like kids everywhere. And one or two of those were pretty rockstar. And then we moved down to Germantown and it was like nothing and that's, and that was right on the cusp anyway, of Oh, I probably shouldn't be doing this. So right. From that point on, I was like, all right, we're done here.

I remember having two or three, like really good ones, one

Halloween. I really want it to be Roger rabbit. And my mom made me a Roger rabbit costume and it was amazing. Are there pictures? I want to see this. I was too embarrassed to wear it. Oh no. I was the worst kid. I broke my mother's heart.

I know. And I broke my own heart. It was so awesome. It was like really the greatest. Alcohol. And

I'm so sorry, man. No, it's my fault. Thank you. It's one of those things like, you're a kid, you have weird mood swings, , like up and down, cool. One day and the next day you're super embarrassed of it.

It's just

it's just gosh, my mom was like the greatest. Like you couldn't get a, you couldn't get one, right? Like it was, the movie just came out, , yeah. Great. And , yeah, she made it from scratch. Oh my God. It was amazing. Wow. God, I really, ah, so many regrets.

But yeah, it was amazing. But yeah, most Halloween's like now if I had kids, like Halloween is not a thing that I would want to do, yeah, no, I would want them to dress up maybe. And go to a party or something, but I don't know about the trick or treating

They've got these trunk or treats now where like people will drive their cars to a parking lot and you just go from one trunk to the next people are like, basically like it.

In their trunk or whatever, and doling out candy, a lot of like churches do it and that type of deal, designated safe community. We have people who may be all don't live in the same area. Because yeah, like depending on what neighborhood you live in, you can have a neighborhood that has no kids and nobody really cares.

If you lived on Hillcrest or something, that's like Halloween central. So of course, if you lived in that area, you'd want to do it and it wouldn't be that big of a deal. So I think, and it's way more neighborhoody and

too, as I've gotten older, I've become more health conscious.

And so it's I wouldn't want my kids eating that much candy at all. Like not even as a like one

time. It's like a special kind of

even, like maybe a tiny amount, but they remember the Malik candy we used to get, like we would have bags of candy, you

know, rent. But that's the scary part is that if you it could be one of those things where.

If you don't let a little bit through the guardrail, then when they, turn 15 or something and realize that they can get candy just by going to the store that they ended up having this like weird reaction to it. You know what I mean? All right, Ben cam. All right.

So let me tell you about the IRS. Cause I had to talk to them this week. It's. February. And they're telling me that I owe an amount of money from my tax return filed in June. I think it was June. So one c'mon man. We're just now getting around to this and two, they send a letter. But they don't say why I owe this money.

There's no , here's what we think you owe. Here's what you paid. Here's your remaining balance. It's just, you owe us this money. If you think this is an error, then you can appeal by calling said number. And I called that number. Many times and got a ringing phone and no answer. There's no go online and check into your account and you'll see how much we think you owe, how much you paid.

What your balance due is there's none of that. It's just, you owe us this money and that would be okay. But I think the burden of proof is on them to tell me why they think our calculations are wrong. Because according to us, we paid the correct amount.

If you're telling me I'm wrong, then I want some proof, I want some backup documentation, but then they're saying for me to appeal, I have to submit proof, but I don't know what their original proof is. Either way. I got a resolved, I was able to call the number. I waited on the line for a hot minute talk to a really nice lady who did not believe me, did not believe me.

She was like, Nope, you have this money. Where's your proof. And I was like , I think the burden of proof is on you guys to tell me exactly why or the amount that I owe. And she was like, Oh, see, that's not how it works. And I was like , it should be. But then I was like, Hey, we pay some quarterly and the amount that.

You say we owe is the exact amount of one of the quarterly payments. So we think you missed one of the quarterly payments. So please double check. And she did, and it was, and then we're fine now. And then I was like, Hey, can you send me a confirmation a confirmation letter saying, you're all good.

Now we're not going to try to put a lien on your house or try to garnish your wages to, to get this money that you owe. And she was like, nah, That's not really something. We do.

IRS, come on guys, get it together. Just send a confirmation email. It's just you can log into your account and , it'll show that you're in good standing. I'm like, could use something a little bit more concrete than that. And that is my phone call with the IRS this week.

Fun, fun

times.

Yeah. It was good times. It was a good time. Honestly. I'm really glad I got it resolved. Cause I was like, I don't want this thing to drag on and on. And then have it be like tacked onto this year's taxes. I don't even know if that's a thing, but. Since we're getting ready to do the 20, 20 filing, it's like just really want to put this 2019 business behind us.

And, according to the nice lady from the IRS, she says we're okay. But how would like some sort of confirmation email that I can print off and put in a file somewhere so that if one day they're like, Hey, but I guess they don't do that.

They just do what they want. Who is this entity?

Who are these few? Got

you got you're sending me paper stuff all the time. So it's not like you can't spare the ink and the paper because you got no problem. Sending me other junk mail, send me one that says, Hey , you're good. We're all square. That's it. That's all I want.

No such paper will ever be handed out.

Nope. You've gotta be able to eternally to change their mind.

That's all right. That's all right. They want to be able to go to prom is we see you thought we said no take backs, but we won't take back.

What are you going to do? What are you going to do the

powers that be, , I'm going to have to end up paying this and I'm going to be mad about it.

What could you do? You couldn't do anything cause nothing couldn't do anything. Yeah. Who do you even contact for that sort of thing? You have to get a lawyer involved.

Hi, I called the number and luckily we got it worked out

I'm proud of you. So you went on a whole rant that I completely ignored because I would normally turn my phone off then when we do this, but the only people that text me are you and my wife.

So if my wife breaks me,

yeah, no, I was thinking earlier, cause I set my phone on a metal thing and I was like, what if that buzzes? And I was like, Ben, that's never happened. Yeah. Any of our podcasts. Yeah. But no, I was just saying like with Halloween candy, you were saying you wouldn't want your kids to even dive in a little bit as a special treat.

And I was like there's a danger in being like, withholding like that, Because then there could come the day when they find out on their own. And then, because it's been this thing that's been like withholding from them that they might go completely nuts on it. And like overindulge, as a

guy that didn't know that water existed and only drink Coke from.

For

the entirety of my youth. No, I get that. I get that. I'm just, I'm not saying withhold so much as educate , because , what is , The thing with sugar, diabetes is a real thing. And , with the influx of cancer happening , and sugar being proven to basically feed cancer.

It's just a thing that, I would like to try to avoid, , certainly, and the only thing, yeah, the only reason that people gain weight is essentially carbs and sugar. That's the primary , reasons for people gaining weight. So it just makes sense to me, , to head that off where I can.

Mitigation versus , abstinence. Sure. That makes sense. Yeah. Yeah,

no, I get what you're saying, but here's the thing. Like my wife makes cookies and when she does it, , she uses organic butter, organic sugar, organic flour, like healthy cookies, if there was such a thing, and that's what I'm saying.

That's the kind of candy or snack that I would want my kids to eat. Not , things wrapped in wrappers made out of who knows what, that's my point.

Yeah. Gotcha.

, there's a way to do it. There's a way to do it. Like I'm drinking a soda right now, but this is probably that one of the healthiest sodas you can get.

It's, as far as sodas go,

right? , yeah, no, , I guess my concern would be , There's well, one there's the social aspect of it. Once kids get into school, then candy just starts showing up. So there is that, but. But no. Yeah. I like the idea of educate versus mandate,

yeah, for sure. It would be educated and, there's, I'm sure they'll still be chocolate laying around, kind of thing. And it's which candy do you feel? Great. These

scopes are amazing.

Thank you. Yeah, but if I eat a Reese's cup now, I feel like RBG after, like I feel it,

this is one. Oh 10.

If I two, I would feel it. I would feel it, okay. It was like a weight, I don't know. Like when you start eating clean for awhile, it's like, when you fuck up , you feel it, I don't know. I don't know if that, I don't know. That's just me, but me and my wife, like we

remind me, like when I'm eating

cleaner, it's more obvious.

If you're constantly eating junk, it's like your body is adapted to it somehow. And it's absolutely. But that there are long-term repercussions,

yeah. No , I get it. , when I'm eating a lot of like fish and vegetables, chicken and vegetables, don't get me wrong.

Like I eat vegetables and broccoli and Brussels sprouts happen with almost every meal in my house. But. Especially like during the summertime, we'll do like a baked fish situation with a salad, and you get a couple of those days in a row and then have, a burger from the burger spot because you're tired of cooking.

Yeah, no, I get it. I get it. You have that Oh, everything about my body feels terrible. Yeah. I

wanted it's weird because like I can eat a five guys burger and it's a little heavy, but I feel all right the next day. But if I eat like a McDonald's burger yeah. I'm messed up.

. Yeah. I definitely can taste the non bio availability of food.

, yeah, with the, , I've tried to make a conscious decision with, especially McDonald's , which at this point, the only time I eat McDonald's is on like road trips. Yeah. Is to get the chicken sandwich. Just try to get the chicken sandwich.

. Yeah,

it's been a, it's been a real change for us. Like a really big change. Like when we first met, we were like, Wendy's Chick-fil-A, and now we've really stepped up, but it's more expensive to eat better, to eat cleaner.

Oh yeah. Oh definitely. Definitely. Which is sad lately, but , And I've been.

Yeah. And , , you buy produce in you have to eat it very quickly or else it goes bad. Which means you got to , you have to change your spending habits to go to the grocery store, twice a week. Once

every two weeks we'd go probably three or four times a week.

Yeah. It's a lot. Gotcha. Yeah. Oh yeah. I've been curious too recently. Have you heard of the lion diet? Basically all meat. That's the thing that's really helping people, apparently like people that have like chronic problems seem to be getting over there , because you're eliminating anything that could possibly be irritating your system.

So you just eat one thing that you can know your body can handle, and then you start to branch out from there, like add potatoes,

right. Slowly bringing in other

stuff. Yeah. And it's not completely

terrifying, but that's how a lot of people determine whether or not they have allergies. Yeah, exactly.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Start with one thing and then. Yeah.

But it's just going steak though, like just eating steak or meat, like that's an easy thing for a lot of peoples to do. So it's not like a terrifying diet, oh, I have to eat this New York strips a day,

it's going to get crazy expensive. Oh my gosh. Sure. The beef prices right now are insane. Yeah.

. I don't really notice the pricing. When you print a bunch of money, the value of said money goes down a bit.

So everything gets more expensive. Yeah, , I got a $7 loaf of bread in there. What, when did raisin bread becomes $7? Wow. Yeah. It's like this shouldn't be two or

$3. Did you go to whole foods for

that whole foods? For sure. And it's yeah, maybe it's a better quality bread, but $7 for a logo. You know what I mean?

Like I can't, I ex

because I,

this is a weird world.

We're in man. Everything is sewed up. All these man.

Yeah , , but is it going to be brominated you know what I mean? Cause bro mine is basically a toxic chemical, it's , like all the reasons that we all get sick and get cancer and this and that, like it's because we're poisoning ourselves.

This shit is in our food, like you have to be careful, and I it's, ah, it's a nightmare. So you gotta get the $7 bread, like a nightmare. Yeah. It's cause bro mine is basically like poison, it's like they use it to make the bread fluffy know it's crazy.

Just it's hard. It's expensive.

Oh yeah, no , definitely.

I don't know how we got a fricking diet subject, they don't make it easy,

everybody just needs to eat more green vegetables.

There's some contrary studies for that as well. Like some of some groups, some vegetables or,

I'm sure there's there's studies for and against all kinds of stuff. That's why, like if I had diabetes or , if I had some sort of situation or whatever, or like where I was like, okay, I need to like, make a drastic health change in my life.

Then I could see doing one of these drastic dire situations to like, have , like a complete, , like culture change, not culture change, but , like a

diet situation

choices. Yeah. Exactly. Like a lifestyle choice, where I'm changing how and what I eat, I think for the majority of people , portion control and leading an active lifestyle.

Or two things that we've just gotten away from as Americans, especially Americans in the South. Yeah. And we're

all just wait, we're all waiting until we get sick. , I don't want me to do that. I don't know. I don't want to wait until I get sick. I'm ready to, I'm just going for it.

Yeah.

Yeah. Eat more vegetables. Don't get the second plate and walk around a whole bunch and that'll help. That'll at least get you in the right direction a little bit

better. Yeah. The second problem though, too, in the United States specifically, is that our soil doesn't have enough minerals and nutrients in it.

So the future is supposed to have a certain amount of. Nutrients, and it's just, it's empty. It's hollow, that's what that's, what's frustrating, because when I came back from Thailand, I started eating here again. I felt like shit, like within a week, it's Oh my God, the food out there, everything is fresh.

Everything's fresh. The soil's got some nutrients on it, and you come here and you think you're eating good. And it's like, why do I feel like shit, all of a sudden, yeah,

let me just go ahead and throw this. Disclaimer, neither of us are scientists. And if you're thinking about doing something and changing some sort of lifestyle, do your own research and figure out, maybe a consultant.

Consults with people that you trust? We are not

X people. No, . This is all

anecdotal, all completely anecdotal. But I don't know. In my experience, the total active lifestyle feels like a good idea. ,

it's a thing, man.

It's a thing

High fructose corn syrup been proven to not be so great for you.

Oh yeah. No, not great. I

didn't every drink in every restaurant. You know what I mean?

No. Yeah. Oh yeah. Everything.

, the state of things, it's, we're being set up to be sick. You know what I mean? You have to go out of your way to not get sick.

I think.

It feels that way. Anecdotally speaking,

sorry. I'm watching my neighbor and he's dragging a giant extension cord from out his second floor, window apartment all the way to his truck on the corner.

Maybe it's battery or something. Maybe it's battery died.

This is the second time he's done it. So I don't know. He's got like one of them Chuck toppers that looks like it's like a camper kind of

physician.

Oh, okay. So there could be like a battery. He's got a charge.

Yeah, maybe. Yeah. I dunno. For a while I thought his buddy was living in that truck for a minute.

Maybe he needs some power.

Yeah, maybe he needs some heat. Either way. I'm the neighborhood watch around here. I just, I work from my desk here and , look out the window and if I see any ne'er do Wells.

I keep it to myself.

And then college kids across the street keep having parties on Friday night. And if that's the case, I'm going to keep putting on my dog poop bags in their trash can at the end of the night, that's my subtle get back at them. Public has been doing this.

Oh, no, I am being 100% serious right now. There is a lot of college kids in old Louisville and there's a house. For down and across and on track. Nice. They have parties up until, 2:00 AM. And normally I don't care about that, but , some of these kids are screamers.

I don't know why, but they get into the street and they start rage yelling at each other and keeps me up at night. So if that's the case and if they're going to keep leaving their trash can out on the sidewalk, then I'm going to keep putting dog poop bags in them. Because it's easier for me to throw them in there than to walk them down to the public trashcan on the corner.

And , I'm not thrilled with them and their life choices. So they're going to get some dog poop bags in their trashcan, which they probably don't even know.

Do you remember what it's like to just not care? Do you remember when we were younger?

Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I remember we were at the , the burger King on Crittendon.

Like after school ended, but before rehearsals started and I don't remember what show it was, but we were being loud and obnoxious and and we were theater kids. So of course we were like projected singing, singing songs, seeing rent signs, just like singing songs in the world, just like out in the wild.

And yeah, I just remembered this like old guy who was trying to have a nice burger with his wife at three 30 in the afternoon, just being like, will you shut. And we just

did it work. .

Yeah, it worked , except Sean Donaldson, who has like the most booming voice in the world, just, as curtly as possible goes.

Pardon us, please. Just like booming throughout the burger King. Yeah, it was like, and then we went to having a normal volume conversation. I believe that's

yeah. We are bred to be like, it's just completely unaware of our surroundings. It's Oh yeah, we'll shut up. If you're a police officer or a teacher or somebody in a uniform.

But if you don't have a uniform on. It's fair

game. Something about like teenagers in like early college kids. It's so glorified in like TV and film of that's that's the prime of your life? You have zero responsibilities. And th that's the age where, a billion movies are made about that period in your life and how like these are the glory days.

I think we, we pump kids full of that and there's already a sense of invincibility within, kids that age. So yeah, there are no rules

and not respecting adults, like. Why where's that,

welcome to get off our lawn with Jacob and Ben.

No, but I've learned that it's our culture, that's like that.

Other cultures make fun of us. We are completely immature. There's cultures, respect their elders, their respect, their parents. They respect their parents, friends. If you're older, that means you are most likely wiser. So therefore you should be respected, not over here though know.

, I think there's some of that. But yeah, not as much as there should be. That's for sure. Oh man, let's talk about this commercial.

we survive off the yo magic. Who

is bill magic, a little Gogurt,

Gogurt, shark,

, I had forgotten it's not I've watched Nickelodeon or anything like that.

So it was somewhere around, when my nephews got to a certain age where putting it on like Nickelodeon or the Disney channel made sense and like hanging out with them. To where I remembered. Oh, like these whacked out commercials for kids where it's just like super high energy.

And, sometimes it's a toy of some like flying helicopter thing. And all of the kids in the commercial are like five years older than their target audience, because they want it to look like the cool kids are into this thing. And. This commercial just tapped directly into, and the kid is like dying, right?

This goes super dark. I w you know, I was looking for like, where's the connection? Like, where's the hydro, where's the , where's the shield, where's the connection to Sokovia or whatever. So it wasn't as deep in that sense, I think it's deep in, in the sense of what's happening exactly right now in this moment, as opposed to the former commercials being about like, what happened.

This is very much like. Present what is going on in the show? Yes. Yeah.

Something is feeding off of the VO magic. That thing, we still have not figured out what that is. We don't know what that is.

Yeah. And if you don't tap into it, you're going to die. Wow. Somebody on the internet brought up the idea of is this.

Is this alluding to the idea of are the people who live on the outskirts of town, who aren't getting magic into being a part of the show? Are they not eating? Are they just in those loops forever? Does anybody get a chance to have a meal in this town?

They all gonna die of starvation.

, we saw somebody glitching out before I think,

We saw the dude in the office glitching out. Yeah. Because vision woke him up,

but we see, the outright just frozen people on the outskirts of town. Oh,

right. We saw herb glitching with the , the trimmer into the cinderblock.

Yeah. So I wonder one, I wonder if it's just because these people are not going to be on the show that Wanda's broadcasting, so she doesn't have time to mind control everybody. So she just freezes them. Is that what it is

or is it like a bandwidth issue?

Yeah, I can only control apparently 200.

Yeah.

Okay. If those people on the outskirts, aren't getting as much juice, then at the end, when Wanda expands the hex, by what half a mile, quarter mile, something like That's. A good bit. That's going to be more bandwidth as more power she's going to have to use to keep all that going.

Yeah. Intriguing.

I got another picture here. Speaking of bandwidth issues.

Oh yeah. So we saw, I still think she's involved somehow. I'm not giving up on that. Not giving up on that. What does she say

right away? Cause she was still able to speak to vision before he unplugged her.

I don't remember

she said, how do I get to the party at town square? And Vision's like at town square. Which is what have you ever forgotten? I'm really bad with directions. But if I knew about Townsquare, I don't think I would forget where town square was.

Yeah. I think there's a subconscious was trying to leave town, but then she couldn't, she started glitch out

froze. Yeah. And then vision unplugs her and she says, am I dead? Vision says Y or something or what? And she says, because you are dead and lots of dead's dead.

Dead

like kind of a little bit of an was

creepy. Yeah. And usually when that happens, like it's just somebody glitching out or something. So like she was clear and still screaming dead. So something extra strange is happening here.

Great. So yeah, it also makes me wonder , are there going to be some longterm lasting effects for these people who have been also what's how long has this been going on for them?

Is every episode a day? I feel like that's the case, but then there's also weird day nights situations where it's daytime inside the hex, but the nighttime outside there. So I don't really know where we are as far as time. And , it's only been about two weeks,

maybe when they're not in the scene, like time just goes by for them, like really quick, when they're glitched out, who knows.

But then , vision goes off on his own. Yeah.

Yeah. He decides to walk through , through past Ellis street and a barrier here's what's interesting. Yeah. Hayworth is tracking vision. Hayworth. Is that his name? Hayward. Hayward. Hayward. Yeah. He's like Hayward. He's tracking vision.

And at one point they refer to him as the asset. So that makes me think maybe Hayward isn't all the way on the up and up. Like maybe they were doing some experiments on vision's body or something, and that's why I wonder, went and pulled him.

Come on the ability vision to come back.

Yeah, maybe it was like ,

I feel like he wants vision out of this and Wanda is in ciliary. She's the prime target here. Yeah. Yeah. And honestly vision walks through the hex and I thought he was going to turn into the grayed out dead version of himself because I figured it was the hex that was powering him.

But, he was still, he still managed to be, don't get me wrong. He was melting away and pieces of him were being pulled back to the hex. So I don't know exactly what that means or how that works. . And interesting.

Yeah. . .

So I think pieces of him were flying back, but, and then I think he just dropped and then she expanded the heck's.

Billy told her, so then we get a little, we get a little glimpse of some of Billy's powers. He's got some sort of like cerebral connection with vision.

Billy figures out that vision is in trouble. Oh, I see. Like that he's dying or something like that.

And then she, or he runs to tell Wanda, and then Wanda sparks up those eyes and, okay. Expands the hex. I did like how, when the hex expanded all of the sword people turned into. Yeah, I did see

that part.

That was fun. It was , and the truck turned into an ice cream truck.

Yep. And we don't see what happens to Darcy. So that'll be interesting. In the next episode she was Darcy was , handcuffed to the truck.

So she's in the hex now, but then Jimmy woo and Monica, they ran up the driveway. And they're supposed to go meet with Wanda's contact, who is an engineer. So we'll see who that is

The ex this thing got huge, right? That the

whole, yeah,

it took over the whole shebang.

And I wonder if that's what she does. , I keep going back to that original scene where once somebody was missing, who they never said who it was and to , those police officers that don't recall a West view at all. I wonder if she at times expands the hex and then contracts it again like she expands it to just tell the people around her to forget what's going on and then close it back.

Or, if it's something like that. I have

no idea. Yeah. And then how much time is contained in the episode? Are they only living for the half hour episode? And then is everybody just in stasis? Like a loop. . Outside of that time. .

So many questions. So we're six episodes in, we still don't know what's going.

Yup. Yup. Still very much in the dark, but yeah, we did get some more information on what's going on with Monica, her. What DNA is being altered from going through the hex. We also see that , that drone is still glowing red when they bring it in.

It, it feels like there's some after effects of the heck's going on there. So we'll see how that kind of translates. , we did get that reference. We got a reference , to captain Marvel from Hayward , talking some smack.

. We didn't talk about them. Just deciding to fight. Knock those two guys out Oh, they're being reprimanded. They just decide to punch them in the face and take them out

So that they could escape. Yeah. Yeah. But they were being kicked out of the whole, deal. They were being sent home. If you're gonna, if you're gonna try to get to the root of things, sometimes you gotta take out the , Take out a couple of your own digital times so that you can say you can hack into the system.

I felt like

that was like out of character a little bit for Mr. Wu. He seems like very by the book type of character, like you'd be like, okay,

definitely. Yeah. I think as time has gone on maybe he's, I guess he's relaxed a little bit. If he's willing to,

he sees the good, maybe he saw the good that ant man ultimately did and different.

Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes the right thing is the wrong thing. .

I still love the fact that they did the magic trick with this business card. That was great.

So we think this Hayward guy wayward, wait, what is Hayward. We think. Then that his goal is to maybe

he's doing some vision experiences he's trying to, I think he wants a vision.

.

So he might be in line with whoever actually created this whole experience for Wanda. If is making it something else, gave her the power to make it then. Yeah. What is that thing? What is that thing that feeds on your magic?

Do not know. And who's the engineer that, that Monica and Jimmy, we were on their way to go meet.

This is someone that someone we know, maybe it's, , Bruce banner type.

Twitter trending was that it could potentially be Reed Richards.

Oh, okay. So we're going full. Fantastic for that could be

something

also , Twitter wants it to be John Krasinski. That's just Twitter

rumors. I think I've seen those images. Yeah. It's pretty, , convincing images.

So what if all these Twitter rumors are correct? What if all of this, like Sebastian, Stan , the John Krasinski, like what did, that's all just been secretly put out by Disney in advance, to see if we'll be okay

with right.

To test the water so that they don't have a announced Ben Affleck as Batman and have him revolt. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. . I feel like if Sebastian, Stan was going to happen, it would have happened.

I've heard a rumor that they're recasting Luke.

Yeah, like having shown him with digital face and then going to a completely recast version would be jarring.

I don't know, man, . If you get somebody that looks like him, yeah.

He's already on the payroll. Yeah. Maybe they're waiting on Falcon and winter soldier to come out and see how that does. And if they're like, yeah. You know what kids got it. Yes. Let's get him in here.

I hear lots of rumors from the , the overlord DVD.

Yeah. That guy he gets some inside

scoop that has nothing to do with the zombie movie. No, it's not.

, no. The guy that, no, the doom cock guy, the guy that I sent you, the video of it can be offensive at times, but , he is definitely had , some inside scoop.

He knows what's up. , it could be a thing. Who knows

what's going on and who knows?

That's why we're here for, we're just here to speculate

, when it comes out. We'll see. But until then, who knows? Yeah. Anything's possible. We'll give what rumors we hear and if it sounds cool.

That's awesome. Do I think, Krasinski and the MC would be cool. Of course he was almost captain America. How wild would that have been? Yeah, it was down to it was like he was in the running before Christmas. He's

got a little bit, he's still too goofy from the firm. I think people just the office

influence had that happened out of the office.

Yeah, definitely. Now that he's done a quiet place and the Jack Ryan show, I

don't know. I still felt like it, it pulled me out. I was the Jack Ryan thing. Like I was like,

Oh, yeah, I haven't watched it yet. It's a little list

you can take, you let's skip

it. At this point, like Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, Chris pine, and now Krasinski that's five actors who have played Jack Ryan in TV and film.

Now in the same breadth, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer. Clooney Christian bale, Ben who Fleck. And now Robert Pattinson, six Batman in the last 30 years, five Jack Ryans and the last 30 years. What other characters have been just routinely recast and rebooted. I don't know that there's that many. I feel like

Superman almost was like, we almost had a Nick cage.

Superman. Oh, that's true. That's true. Yeah. We had obviously, Christopher Reeve super important. Brandon Routh Yeah. Dean Kane. Hey Henry. Tyler, whatever his name is, which was on the CW shows now. Oh, and then you got Smallville got Smallville.

Yeah. We've had a few recently.

Boy Nick Cage as Superman that would have been man,

that would have been wild with Tim Burton, directing that would have been wild, weird I feel like He's really an alien. Yeah. He's not from this planet. Really want to tap into that

Oh my God, I'm dying.

You know what,

here's the thing , out more episodes. Three, four more episodes, something like that. Yeah. I think it's three. So we'll see where it goes.

We'll see. Time will tell.

. I think this is going to end on a strong note. How did you feel we didn't do it. I almost hit you up to do a Falcon, winter soldier, special , video. And I was like, eh,

Yeah. I , I honestly, I don't know that I watched the full trailer.

Somebody said, I think I saw somewhere that it was like falcon winter soldier trailer during the super bowl. And I was like, I watched the super bowl. I don't remember that trailer.

It was like super action packed traditional marble. Quick cut. Quick cuts, smashing things. , it's probably the Marvel everybody wants to see in

right.

It's not this cerebral Wandavision,

right. Me, I'm actually not as excited about it. Like having this experience of Wanda vision really is a big bonus for me. This is really awesome,

. The show's taken some big swings, so yeah. So then reverting back to, I really think they probably should have flipped these and had Falcon, winter soldier come out first and then Wanda vision.

Afterward.

There's probably a reason they didn't. I'm sure it has something to like this

story.

I can't believe I'm saying I'm like, not even excited about it. I'm more excited about justice league. , then Falcon and winter soldier. And I know I'm going to watch it. I'm a hundred percent gonna launch it.

she said, how do I get to the party at town square?
